The World in 2011 Singapore

Home

8 December, 2010
  • Asian Civilisations Museum, Singapore

We bring The Economist's annual World In publication to life through a gala evening on the trends, issues and ideas that will shape the future. Daniel Franklin, executive editor of The Economist and editor of The World In series and other visionary leaders from the worlds of business, technology, science and politics will share and debate their predictions for the year ahead.

Issues examined in The World in 2010 publication included: What are the biggest challenges facing Barack Obama? Will Americans implement their 2010 Iraq withdrawal timetable? Will there be a return to economic growth? Will there ever be a binding post Copenhagen agreement? Will a cure for HIV finally be found?

Join us for an evening of thought-provoking entertainment. The World in 2011 speaker panel will be announced in September.
